VISIT THE EDGE

My experience visiting The Edge is one of my BEST memories of New York City!!! Everyone should experience New York from new heights on the city’s highest outdoor sky deck!!!

I’ve been to THE EDGE for the first time this year in February, to celebrate my birthday, and it was a last minute thing. I had spent the morning doing the Helicopter Ride over Manhattan, and went to get lunch at my favorite place, Hard Rock Cafe NY! After two hours enjoying myself at my favorite restaurant (I worked there as Photographer Manager years ago) in the city, I went online and purchased a ticket to go see the sunset at THE EDGE. I got tickets for 5pm, but unfortunately, it was too late to catch the sunset.

I spent over 2h in line to get to the observatory, and when I finally got up there it was already dark. But it was still worth it, as I had plans to stay until late night to get the city view at night time as well!

If it helps, if you are paying general admission price, be prepared to wait in line not only on the way up, but also when you leave. It took me over 1h to be able to leave the building.

I have to admit, the view to the city from THE EDGE is the best one I’ve seen so far! It gives you not only the entire NYC Skyline, but also a view to the Hudson River and Jersey City, which is also stunning and so worth it!
