Coronavirus: Self Quarantine Day 1

Hey guys,

If you are a Lifestyle in America reader, you know that my Blog Day is Sunday mornings, which usually is the only day I actually have the entire morning to speak to you and update you about my week living in America.

If you are here, it’s a pleasure to have you here!

I’m Tatiana Mullin, Brazilian, thirty-three years old, married to an American, living at the Jersey Shore – NJ for almost four years. I am a daytime teacher, night time blogger. I also have a Freight Forward Business, shipping products to Brazil (MY DEAR BOX) and some other countries. I love blogging, but unfortunately I only have Sunday mornings to do it. As of now, I’m sure I’ll be blogging more often on the days I don’t have to go to work.

Like the entire world, I’m also terrified about getting and spreading the coronavirus and I feel that writing will help me relieve the anxiety I’m facing with all this.

At first, I didn’t think of making a Journal during these days I’m home, but I came to the conclusion that will be good to share my feelings and also to inform everyone who follows me, what is exactly going on here in the United States, especially at the Jersey Shore, where I live.

As of today, March 19th, 2020, Friday morning, I heard I didn’t have to go to work, twenty minutes before leaving the house. I was ready to go, but there are not enough kids in the school, so as of today, I’m staying home.

I’ll be searching all about the Coronavirus to be able to share with you all how we are surviving the pandemic here in United States.

According to the news, in the United States, we have 10.442 confirmed cases and 150 deaths all around the 50 States. in New Jersey, we have 427 confirmed cases and 5 deaths, as of today.

I’m taking an hour every night to pray for all of us to survive this and specially to give strength to the ones who lost their loved ones for this tragedy we are facing in the entire world.

Last weekend I shared on my INSTAGRAM photos of Walmart, Target, Stop and Shop and Dollar Tree with empty shelves. I couldn’t find toilet paper, hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, wipes, and cleaning products in general.

It’s been a week and I still can’t buy those products, as stupid people are stocking everything and panicking with the coronavirus.

I’ll be back tomorrow sharing about ideas of what to do during quarantine at home, so we all don’t go crazy!

Stay safe, stay home, and take care. xxx
